is looking for Direct Care Staff who want to work in an environment where they teach and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We have two locations one in Clearwater and the other in Largo.
Sign On Bonus $15.
00 per hour Free Vision & Dental for a year Schedule Varies:
7am - 3pm 9am - 4:
30pm PLEASE NOTE:
This position requires staff to drive company vans.
Must have a clean driving record.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position includes:
Provide primary care and assistance for individuals with disabilities Providing immobile, ill, or frail clients with assistance, company, and comfort Monitor the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients and reporting changes to designated parties Perform personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties Prepare meals and assisting clients with eating and drinking Assist with the use of incontinence products or providing bathroom visit support Assist clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs, and back Accompany clients on community outings Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe environment Ensure that services provided are in compliance with the applicable Individual Support Plan, Behavioral Plan, and any other pertinent care information Performing General Physical Activities Exceptional ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care, and hygiene needs.
Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties, assist with feeding of client's meals.
Advanced ability to maintain a clean and sterile environment, as well as safely discarding biological waste.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a caring approach, and physically fit.
Minimum Education, Credentials, Experience and Special Requirements:
Required:
High school diploma is required from an accredited high school or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening check and a Local Law Background Check Must be able to obtain CPR, First Aid, HIV/AIDS certifications, Direct Core Competencies, and Zero Tolerance training certifications Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the individuals and program Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
