Unit Managers are primarily responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
Unit Managers are liaisons between residents and their families.
Unit Managers are tasked with ensuring their unit complies with federal and state regulatory standards and follows company policies and procedures.
Registered Nurse Unit Manager Education and Experience Requirements:
Must hold valid RN License instate working LTC Experience Preferred Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills Minimum 5
years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting and a minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor CPR/BLS certified Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Supervises the nursing personnel and the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during an assigned tour of dut Quick Apply.
