Job Description:
Operations Coordinator / Scheduling & Dispatch Manager Job Overview Client is one of the leading companies in Asphalt Milling in central Florida.
We are hiring a talented Operations Coordinator / Scheduling & Dispatch Manager to join our team at our Largo Florida location.
Experience with Asphalt Milling or Asphalt installation and the ability to manage multiple crews will provide you with the background to fill this position.
Responsibilities for Schedule Manager Speak with customers over the phone and thru emails to schedule and follow up on current and future schedule.
Manage computerized Schedule in Operations suite and Excel program.
Dedicate assets as needed to complete task timely and efficiently.
Dispatch crews and redirect assets as necessary to meet operational demands.
Work closely with Operations, Sales and Service and Assistant Scheduler to manage our crews and customers.
Resolve appointment conflicts for staff and customers.
Schedule staff coverage in order to ensure the company's best operations standards.
Produce and process schedules and reports as they are requested by administrative staff, customers or clients.
Work closely with Fleet Maintenance to schedule equipment maintenance.
Qualifications for Schedule Manager:
Background in Roadway Milling, Asphalt Paving or other operations that provides the knowledge to understand the work process and terminology required.
Dispatch experience is a plus.
Computer competency for data entry and the production of reports and schedules.
Excellent communication skills in customer service and experience working as a company team member.
Fast and efficient problem solving.
Ability to fulfill the company's standards and values when performing scheduling tasks.
Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers.
Have an eye for detail and organization.
Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.
Schedule project timelines in order to predict the finish date for larger projects.
