We are looking to hire an experienced veterinary technician to provide compassionate patient care and positive client experiences.
The veterinary technician will provide critical care nursing, triage patients, coordinate their care, and provide them with care before and after surgery by taking their vitals, performing phlebotomy and light lab duties, and providing IM, IV and SQ injections.
Performing dentals is a must.
You will discuss treatments and disease processes with clients, systematize and track patient diagnostics, and communicate with clients, veterinarians and pharmacies regarding patients' needs.
Our PMS is Cornerstone.
We currently allow 1 hour for annuals and 15 minutes for tech appts such as nail trims, blood draws, etc.
Although we have in-house blood diagnostics we send most lab tests out.
To ensure success in this position, you need to be a meticulous and compassionate team player to provide patients with the highest level of care.
Preferred applicants are motivated, empathetic and detail-oriented.
