Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Largo, FL Largo, FL Full-time Full-time $75,468 - $120,748 a year $75,468 - $120,748 a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager that is responsible for and oversees the daily operations of fleet technicians at two vehicle maintenance facilities and one vehicle upfitting facility.
The Fleet Manager is responsible for budget preparation, monitoring of allocated funds for billing and invoicing, annual vehicle replacement coordination, inventory management, maintenance tracking, and damage repair coordination.
The Fleet Manager works with internal agency divisions and components, as well as external vendors to ensure that all needs associated with the agency's vehicles and related equipment are being met.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential to the position as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The Fleet Manager reports to the Captain and Major of the Support Services Bureau.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field Five (5) years' fleet related experience Two (2) years' supervisory experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess a valid Florida driver's license Consideration for this position requires a credit check Please see the Job Description for more information.
