Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing inventory and non-inventory accounts payable transactions on a daily basis and for month-end closing.
This includes verifying and reconciling balances and making journal entries or adjustments as required.
The position includes full cycle accounts payable, cash reporting and distribution to general ledger expense accounts and/or reconciling Accounts Payable general ledger to sub-ledger and reporting to upper management as required.
This position is a hands-on role responsible for processing a high volume of accounts payable transactions.
The position interfaces with other co-workers in accounting, purchasing, senior management, warehouse and sales; externally the position will interface with multiple vendors and banking personnel.
Position pays 12.00 an hour
